Eye-Fi – Wireless Memory Card

Eye Fi

Sharing your pictures can become a tedious task. One of the easiest and fastest ways has been uploading them to an
online gallery – of course, that depends on your Internet speed. What if you can do it wirelessly and instantly after every shot you take?
Or, at least when you get back to your computer …automatically.

Check out the Eye-Fi, a wireless memory card. It automatically uploads pictures through your Wi-Fi connection from your digital
camera to your PC or Mac and to your favorite photo sharing or social networking site. For example, you can have your pictures
uploaded to dotphoto, flickr, webshots, Kodak Gallery, shutterfly, Facebook, among others. With a MAC you can upload to iPhoto.

You’ll have to configure where you want your pictures to be uploaded during the setup process using the Eye-Fi Manager,
which is fairly easy. All you do is plug the Eye-Fi Card Reader into your USB port and follow the guided set-up. Then insert the
Eye-Fi SD card into your favorite camera. You can choose to upload them to a "pictures" folder on your computer or
upload to the Web. You can even do both!

Don’t forget, you’ll need an SD card compatible digital camera to use the Eye-Fi, which has 2 GB of its own memory.
You can find it online and several retailers for about 100 bucks. For more information, visit: www.eye.fi

Happy uploading!
